The Hunterdon County YMCA is . . .
• For everyone! One in eight residents of Hunterdon County are involved with the YMCA. If you haven’t already, come discover all that we have to offer!
• The largest childcare provider in the county. Before & after school care provided for 1,000 children at 18 county schools and full day care is provided for infants-5 year olds at the YMCA Child Care and Learning Center.
• A leader in swimming and aquatics. Over 7,500 swim program registrations each year: swim lessons, senior swim, and water fitness. More than 300 children compete with the Stingrays Swim Team.
• An Activate America YMCA. The YMCA is redefining itself and engaging communities across the country to provide better opportunities for people of all ages in their pursuit of health and well-being in spirit, mind and body.
• Supported by over 425 volunteers. Our volunteers offer support in areas such as policy, sports leagues, special events, and office help.
• A 501(c)3 charitable organization. Last year, the Hunterdon County YMCA provided nearly $300,000 in financial assistance to over 1,800 individuals in our community. YMCA fund raising efforts assures that no one is denied the opportunity to participate in YMCA programs due to lack of funds.
