Strong Kids Campaign

We need you!  Please become a Strong Kids Campaign Storyteller!

Every year more than 2,000 members of the Hunterdon County YMCA are faced with the realization that they are unable to afford the services at the Y that they have grown to count on.  Far too often in this unsettled economy we have seen people beomcing unable to retain their Y membership due to unexpected financial hardships.  Parents are faced with discontinuing a child's participation in imporant and fun programs such as before and after school care, swim lessons, summer camp, sports/dance programs and more.

Fortunately, through the generous donations given towards the YMCA's Financial Assistance Program, we are able to help our neighbors in need.  Each year we give out more than $250,000 in scholarships to our members and we anticipate an increase of the needs of our community for 2009.  But we need your help!

We are looking for volunteers who are interested in telling the community about their experiences with the YMCA and to help us raise funds for Strong Kids Financial Assistance program.  This is a great way for you to get involved in the community and meet other parents.
